Since we will focus on English literature, some mature themes should be expected in these short stories. These can include death, violence, prejudice, amongst others. Overly explicit violent or sexual themes will NOT be present in the short stories selected for this class. Please contact the instructor with any questions about the class or the short stories to be covered.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Maestría desde University of Texas in San Antonio
Though my degree is in engineering, I hold a Minor in English Creative Writing, particularly focusing on Short Stories. It was my dream to double major in Engineering AND English, but alas(!) there were not enough hours of the day to allow for this to happen. I have led multiple discussion groups and been a part of many, many more. That is to say, I continue to be passionate about short stories and I wish to bring this passion to a high school classroom setting.
