Introduction

Hello!  My name is Teacher Ericka.  I look forward to meeting you!  I am an experienced and certified English as a second or foreign language (ESL) teacher from the USA.  I have a bachelor's degree from the United Kingdom and two English teaching certificates.  For the past five years, I have taught over 6,000 English lessons to students from around the world, both in the classroom and online!

These one-on-one tutoring lessons provide invaluable speaking practice with the pronunciation correction students need to quickly improve English speaking ability.  I teach my students to speak like native speakers using very effective teaching techniques which build confidence and enable students to overcome barriers to learning English.  Students learn vocabulary and grammar and receive pronunciation correction in every lesson. Personal Statement

I have a background in the education sector and the visual arts.  In addition to my love of teaching, I enjoy traveling, gardening, photography, long walks in nature and fine art.  I had always wanted to attain satisfaction in my professional life and have found this in teaching!
