Taller de gramática inglesa y ELA para 3.º, 4.º y 5.º grado: Cuaderno interactivo

Each week we will review a grammar concept (8 parts of speech, types of sentences, punctuation, homophones, prefixes/suffixes, sentence structure, etc.) and create a visual for our interactive grammar notebook. 

This class requires some prep work. Learners will need a composition notebook, scissors, glue, colored pencils/pens, and access to a printer. A weekly pdf will be provided for learners to cut and have ready for class. 

How is the class structured?
The class will start with introductions and an ice breaker activity. Next, I will introduce the topic of the day and we will complete the visual for the day. Learners will have the opportunity to complete tasks related to the topic. At the end of class, we will play a Blooket, Gimkit, or Kahoot game to reinforce what we learned. Blooket, Gimkit, and Kahoot accounts are not required to access the game.

This is an ongoing class and each class stands alone, so learners are welcome to join at any time!

Week of March 10- Adverbs describing adverbs
Week of March 17- Comparative & Superlative for good & bad
Week of March 24- Subordinating conjunctions in sentences 
Week of March 31-Compound subjects
Week of April 7- Compound predicates
Week of April 14- Subject verb agreement with compound subjects  (No Thursday classes)
Week of April 21- Subject verb agreement with compound subjects  (No Monday classes)
Week of April 28- Collective nouns
Week of May 5- Possessive Adjectives
Week of May 12- Indefinite Adjectives
Week of May 19- Absolute Adjectives
Week of May 26- Subordinating Conjunctions  (No Monday Classes)
Week of June 2- Correlative Conjunctions
