Welcome to a comprehensive third-grade English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum, meticulously crafted for reading, writing, and presentations. With each unit consisting of six classes, our 45-minute sessions are aligned with Common Core standards for 3rd and 4th grade. Ideal for homeschooling, supporting existing ELA curricula, or after-school supplementation, this course ensures a rich learning experience for every student. Course Structure: The class structure is designed for easy acclimatization, offering predictability for swift learning. Sessions encompass: 1. Review of prior concepts (from the second session onwards) 2. Learning new concepts 3. Guided group practice 4. Individual supported practice 5. Sharing of work 6. Games to reinforce new concepts (time permitting) Homework and assignments outside of class will not take more than one hour per week. Students are welcome to enroll late as each lesson will be self-contained. They will not have to "catch up" when enrolling late, so they are welcome any time. **Due to limitations on Outschool's syllabus, we are listing the Unit Outlines here.
