This is one-on-one reading or writing tutoring for kindergarten though fifth grade students. Help your learner become a confident reader! Does you learner need help with drawing conclusions, answering comprehension questions, or understanding author's purpose or main idea? The learner can bring homework, a graded test/quiz to go over questions that were incorrect, or questions from a lesson. Together we will discuss concepts and build the learner's understanding and confidence. I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years, and have taught 1st grade (all subjects), 3rd grade (all subjects and math tutoring), and 5th grade (science and math lead teacher). I was also an intervention specialist and worked with students on their IEP goals, as well as students who spoke English as a second language. Recently, I have taught English online with students who spoke English as a second language.
