Here is a brief schedule for what we will go over during the class. Each topic has a rough time stamp in the 60 minute seminar.

*Introduction to each other, class rules, and the idea of relativity
*Warm up questions and discussion
*An overview of position, velocity, and acceleration
*The traditional (Galilean) view of relative motion

*A brief biography on Albert Einstein
*The speed of light

*Brief break and intermission Q&A

*Relative speed of light for all observers
*Consequences and phenomena or special relativity
*General Relativity
*Kahoot and Final Q&A

My Lecture will consist of a loosely followed power point presentation. We will conduct intellectual discussion about this subject and relevant topics with icebreakers and engagement questions. We will also play a competitive game at the end of class to test students' knowledge.

Students may enter the class with little prior knowledge, or they may be unfamiliar with some of the vocabulary used in this class. It will not be a big issue, since I will be prepared to answer questions regarding that. This is a topic that is typically not covered in middles school / high school curricula. Hence, it is designed for those with less prior knowledge. I am assuming students have a basic understanding of shapes, solids, graphs, number lines, and abstract thinking.
Metas de aprendizaje
The purpose of this class is to encourage intellectual discourse between students. Students will learn to apply critical thinking, specifically by extrapolating prior knowledge and experiences to make assumptions about an unfamiliar problem. They will learn various topics about physics and astronomy mentioned in the course description. My main goal for the class is to provide entertainment of mind with an interesting subject that will trigger students' imaginations.

Hello, and welcome to my Outschool profile!

Struggling to conquer a tricky math problem or aspiring to become a physicist, engineer or programmer some day? Look no further, as I'm here to give guidance providing my teaching experience to you from the comfort of your own home. I've been tutoring and teaching students for over seven years, primarily focused on high school to early college-level math and physics. I have experience in both industry and academia, having worked on research projects with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. I've worked internships for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power under an Electrical Engineering Associate and at Infineon AG as a firmware testing engineer.

I work to implement visual, auditory, and example-based learning along with student collaboration. My goal is to provide my students with skills including quantitative literacy, effective communication between peers, modelling the real world scenarios, and test taking strategies to prepare them for future careers. I also have passions for music, art, gaming, and sports.
