E Kid Surgeons: ¡Resuelve la Cirugía con Animales en Medicina Veterinaria!

⭐ As a Star and Popular-badged teacher (awarded in 2023), I am so excited to welcome veterinarian-interested learners to this veterinary medicine surgery class! 

▶ I decided to create this class like no other!
▶ Custom-designed curriculum to attract both older pretend-play lovers and fact-based leaners to come together in the same classroom! 


🏅 Taught by a credentialed Animal Scientist teacher (diploma received from NC State University) with 20+ years in the veterinary industry, your instructor is not a veterinary doctorate surgeon.🏅 

🌟 To comply with federal US Law, there are no real-animal diagnoses or treatments
🌟 To comply with federal US Law, a teacher will always recommend students take their own pets to a licensed veterinarian where they live.


🟢 Class Structure:
- There may be some variation week to week.
1. Students are introduced to a hypothetical patient.
2. Students provide feedback and pretend-play diagnosis through discussion.
3. Students make decisions about treatment for that diagnosis.
4. Teacher gives a short lesson on injury, disease, or treatment. 
5. Teacher will host a discussion about the possible surgical treatment.



❗ This course is intended to give teacup-sized bits of knowledge. ❗ 
- This material is heavy with lots of critical thinking of a higher degree. 
- Some students choose to listen as a lecture. That is fine.
- To listen as a lecture, no prior courses are required.
- To get the most out of the lesson, with interaction, prior courses are suggested.

- Learners can join us at any time and not be behind.
- Please check the parental guidance section. 
- Students in vet tech/nurse and vet school learn all topics including surgery. 
- Important to note, class is meant to be interactive. 
- Learners aren't REQUIRED to participate & do not require a second device.
- Per Outschool approval recommendations, I want to ensure students focus on decision-making skills and voicing opinions rather than the fine details of correct surgical procedure. Students will not leave this class knowing how to perform surgery and should never try. These are things a veterinarian MIGHT do at some point after years of training (and this will be stated at the start of every class).



✨ Outschool and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) are very specific about guidelines and rules for diagnosing, treating, and prescribing. I am not a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and I do not practice medicine. For students who inquire about real animals and pets they own, I recommend visiting a local vet. Students will not be diagnosing, treating, or prescribing medications any real animals. ✨
