Dinosaurios dinámicos: una lección y una clase de manualidades flexibles

En esta clase de horario flexible de 5 semanas, los estudiantes aprenderán sobre un nuevo dinosaurio cada semana y crearán una manualidad de dinosaurio.

This is a flexible schedule class and we do not meet live which means you can access the class materials at the times that are convenient for you!
Each week the teacher will post:
1. A Video lesson presented by the teacher
2. A teacher led step by step fine motor skills craft that coordinates with the weekly lesson.
3. A really fun, interactive Nearpod Lesson that includes a Draw It section, memory matching, and more!
4. Printable Activity Sheets
5. An end of week Kahoot Quiz (posted each Friday by 8 a.m. EST)
6. End of week notes to help students remember what they learned. (posted each Friday by 8 a.m. EST)

The classroom is a place for comments, questions, and discussion. Students should post in the classroom for the teacher and other students to respond.
Class schedule is as follows:

Week One: 
Tyrannosaurus Rex
*What does Tyrannosaurus mean?
*When did the T-Rex live?
*What did they eat, were they carnivores?
*Were they fast or slow?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the T-Rex via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A T-Rex craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. 
There will be PDF printable coloring pages and activities to go along with the lesson

Week Two: 
Pterosaur
*When did they live and are they really dinosaurs?
*What does Pterosaur mean?
*They had wings, did they have feathers?
*What did they eat/
*What is a paleontologist? 
*Much more!
Students will learn about pterosaurs via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A fun pterosaur craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. 
There will be PDF printable coloring pages and activities to go along with the lesson

Week Three: 
Triceratops
*How much did they weigh?
*What are their horns made of and what were they used for?
*They were herbivore, what is an herbivore?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the triceratops via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. 
There will be PDF printable coloring pages and activities to go along with the lesson

Week Four: 
Brachiosaurus
*How much did they weigh and how much did they eat?
*Did they have any predators?
*Where can we see a skeleton of an almost complete brachiosaurus?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the brachiosaurus via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed.

Week Five: 
Stegosaurus
*When did they live?
*What is a fossil and where were stegosaurus fossils found?
*How large were their plates and what were they used for?
*Was this a smart dinosaur? What size was its brain?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the stegosaurus via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed.
