➡️ FRIDAY class is at Level 3, currently in the 1,000 Eyes, on route to help a remote fishing village that is under attack by some kind of mysterious, dark presence that lives in the deep waters of the lake... Monster Hunters Inc. is an ongoing adventure. You can join at the beginning or you can jump in at anytime to join the hunt! 🧙 This class is an immersive Dungeons and Dragons campaign for students who wish to build a character and create an ongoing, fully-realized adventure with that character. Together, we will tell an epic story of your heroes' life. Our adventures will focus on team-building, storytelling, rich roleplaying, creative problem solving, exploration of wondrous fantasy lands and, of course, the hunting of unique, bizarre, fantastical creatures! It is recommended that you have played D&D 5th Edition before, however it is not required. If you are brand new to the game, let me know and I will be delighted to introduce you to the game. If you're starting with the first session, please create a Level 1 character and have it ready. If you're jumping in to a later session, the current level of play will be posted here! Either way, get in touch with me if you need help. I can assist you in character creation or provide a pre-made character. Want to play this campaign with longer sessions? Students will continually learn more about the game and will also learn improv skills, critical thinking, strategic planning and teamwork.
Each week will be a fun exercise in imagination, group storytelling and creativity. Emphasis on fun!

As this is a fantasy Dungeon and Dragons adventure where the students role-play heroes facing dangerous adversaries, there will be occasional portrayals of non-graphic fantasy violence, akin to Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.
Students will always be encouraged to have their characters solve problems without violence, but sometimes foes will be faced that require a strong sword arm or a potent spell. Even in those cases, the portrayals will be age appropriate.

Upon enrolment, students will be provided with materials to "set the scene" for the world of Rythianor and our campaign. These are not required readings, but are offered for the students' enjoyment.
Students will also receive further guidance on character creation and which optional rules we will be using.
