➡️ Friday class, we are on a heist mission to find a magical mandolin stolen from the grave of a famous bard, before a nefarious group uses it to spread the Song That Broke the World!! We are playing at Level 8. This ongoing Dungeons and Dragons adventure is designed specifically for 8-11 year olds. Each week we will play a DnD game that is imaginative, energetic, filled with wonder and tailored to the individual players in the game. The learners will have a choice of multiple different storylines to delve into and will also shape the story with their choices and their characters. A strong emphasis will be placed on their creativity and character design. Want to create a Ranger who has escaped from Takabacka the Goblin King before becoming an adventurer? Perhaps we will explore a storyline where Takabacka catches up to you and your team and mayhem ensues! Want to create a studious wizard who is searching for a lost tome of magical secrets? Perhaps that is exactly where our adventure will lead. As this is an ongoing class, learners are free to join at any point and can also leave when they need. If you need to be absent for a week, we will simply catch you up when you return! Who this class is for: 1) New DnD players searching for an exciting weekly adventure with an emphasis on fun while they learn the game at their pace 2) Experienced DnD players who want to explore a vast fantasy world and steer the story with their choices, all with the help of a veteran dungeon master RULES 1) No evil characters 2) No flying characters 2) I advise that your character is someone who likes other people and is a supportive, positive team player. Beyond that, the sky is the limit!
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will continually learn more about the game and will also learn improv skills, critical thinking, strategic planning and teamwork.
Each session will be a fun exercise in imagination, group storytelling and creativity. Emphasis on fun!

Orientación para padres
As this is a fantasy Dungeon and Dragons adventure where the students role-play heroes facing dangerous adversaries, there will be occasional portrayals of non-graphic fantasy violence, akin to Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.
Students will always be encouraged to have their characters solve problems without violence, but sometimes foes will be faced that require a strong sword arm or a potent spell. Even in those cases, the portrayals will be age appropriate.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I first began playing D&D back in the early days of 2nd Edition, when I was just 8 years old. Thus began a lifelong love of fantasy, imagination, roleplaying games and collaborative storytelling. Besides running professional D&D games, I am also a trained theatre actor and producer with 20+ years of experience creating immersive stories.
As a DM, I am patient, endlessly enthusiastic, creative, organized and devoted to my players' enjoyment. I also do quite a few character voices!
