Drawing is So Much Fun is a course that takes place once a week. This course will cover a variety of diverse arts curriculum. Students will be introduced to different styles of drawing along with different techniques and arts mediums.
Students will learn to draw from realism which is drawing things as they appear.
Students will learn to drawing real objects and people by using abstract art and character art.
Students will learn to draw and design from their own imagination. 
Students will be asked to give their ideas for what kind of subjects they want to draw. and the teacher will take ideas into consideration for future projects.
During each session, students will choose their own art medium such as pencils, pens, markers, crayons, oil pastels.
Each week is a one hour drawing experience with Teacher Lisa who is a professional artist and arts educator and who loves to draw.
There will be one drawing subject per week. Each week we will focus on a different subject.

The teacher will introduce the art subject and share the materials she is using while making recommendations to students on the best tools to use.
There will be art images and video used as learning tools to help the student see the art subject. (Google Images and YouTube Video)

The art teacher will demonstrate art techniques while speaking with the students. The teacher will appear in front of the camera and alternate the camera so students can see what the teacher is drawing.
Students who are willing will be enlisted to talk and answer subjective questions. It's okay if they don't want to talk but I hope to provide an encouraging experience for all of my artists.
Students will be given opportunity to ask questions throughout the lesson.
Students do not need any prior art lessons for this class. They do need to have a passion for drawing and are eager to learn new techniques.
Students will be inspired each week by the teachers art instruction and visual demonstration through help of imagery and video exploration of other artist techniques giving them a broader perspective on art mediums and design alternatives. 
Students will walk away wanting to know more with a renewed since of accomplishment and appreciation for their craft.

Some classes may have more instruction than others depending on whether we are working with realism or abstract art. The teacher will always draw with the students providing my individual style and sometimes showing other artists styles via YouTube Video.
 
In this class the teacher loves to promote individual ideas and concept behind the artists work and what they create.

In no particular order, here's a breakdown of class subjects for all Drawing is So Much Fun classes in 2022: 

ART STYLES OF MASTER ARTISTS: We will look at Cubism featuring Pablo Picasso's abstract pieces. We will also look at the abstracts of KANDINSKI and students will create their own renditions of that style.

JAPANESE INSPIRED ART STYLES: We will look at two very popular styles such as KAWAII ART and ANIME ART

MASK MAKING learning 3 different styles: AFRICAN MASKS, CHINESE OPERA MASKS, MARDI GRAS MASKS

FASHION DESIGN: A very popular request by young girls who love to draw fashion figures. Students will receive hands-on art instruction on the 8-9 head technique fashion figure along with lots of information and knowledge on the fashion illustration business.

ROMERO BRITTO inspired art renditions: Students will learn about this living legend of art positive images. Students will draw their own rendition of Romero Britto using the influences seen from the famous artists designs.

SEA ANIMALS and their habitat: Students will view deep sea images and video of Sea Animals and their habitat and draw their own underwater world using medium of their choice.

TROPICAL RAINFOREST Animals: Students will view the Tropical Rainforests and learn about the species that occupy these exotic places. They will create their own scene using the animals and plant life of their choice.

HOW TO DRAW FACES: Students will learn the traditional methods of drawing faces. These guidelines with be helpful whenever drawing a human face.

ZENTANGLE ART: Also sometimes referred to as Doodle Art is an organic method of creating lines, shapes, patterns and designs within a space or a figure or object. The cover design for this class is an example of Zentangle Art.

GRAFFITI ART: Student will learn the background of what was once known as an illegal means of expression. Students will be encouraged to embrace and practice their own spin on what is now an accepted method for artists and businesses.

ADVERTISING and CONCEPTUAL ART: Art has always been explained through the conceptual process from the artists brain onto the page. Students will design their own Food Truck, menu and draw the business along with coming up with a business name and advertisement. This activity comes from the art students themselves wanting to draw food.

STORY ART: Another conceptual art inspired by the teacher reading a made up story and integrating specific physical features of the characters from the story. The student will draw a scene from the story based on their own ideas and imagination.

HOW TO DRAW ANIMALS: Students will review fundamental shapes in order to train the artists eye to draw the animal. These sketches will evolve into the actual animal of intention with more practice.

Hello Parents; if you made it to this part of the information I have shared, THANK YOU for your interest in my class. WEDNESDAY: ( 3/3/21); LET'S DRAW They will receive simple art instruction on dr sharing their creative thoughts on their character. Material Needed: pencils, eraser, colored pencils and/or crayons, thin black marker for outline, colored markers.
