This class will be fun, relaxed, positive and engage the imagination. I am a very playful person with a creative imagination. I love to come up with images that make others ponder and create their own story. I wonder a lot and funny ideas come to me like the Party Cat. This Party Cat is ready to celebrate, she has her favorite red stiletto boots on and is styling her cute party hat with her new striped shirt on. She is perched on top of her favorite sprinkled cupcake, waiting for her guest to arrive. The students will be guided step by step on how to draw Party Cat. During the process they will learn tools to help build and check their drawing. After the drawing is complete they will add their imagination to the drawing . At the end of class there will be sharing time; a time where the student points out what they like about their creation.

discern: different shapes, different sizes, spatial relationships
learn: to relax while learning, have fun, engage creativity
The result of all this is building self-confidence.

I have a BFA in Costume Design, and a Certificate in Fine Art from Mission Renaissance Fine Art School. I have been teaching for 20 years and creating art for 30.
