Una clase continua para jóvenes artistas que quieran practicar el dibujo de animales realistas. Cada semana dibujaremos un animal juntos, mirando fotografías en busca de inspiración, en lecciones guiadas por el profesor.

Each week of "Draw Together" is a miniature drawing workshop. Learners follow along as I demonstrate how to draw a new animal in each class, using photographs as inspiration. We will practice drawing from observation (making our drawings look similar to the reference photo) and including a background. Students are encouraged to add color, shading, and creative details as desired. My goal is not only to teach students how to draw a particular animal, but to help them practice the skills they need to draw anything they want! Here are our upcoming subjects: MONDAY class: Nov. 4: Toucan! Nov. 11: Dog (yorkie)! Nov. 18: Duck! Nov. 25: Woolly mammoth! TUESDAY class: Nov. 5: Cheetah! Nov. 12: Coyote! Nov. 19: NO CLASS Nov. 26: Sloth! WEDNESDAY (AM) class: Nov. 27: NO CLASS Dec. 4: Arctic wolf! Dec. 11: Penguin! Dec. 18: Polar bear! Dec. 25 & Jan 1: NO CLASS. (Two holidays in a row!!) WEDNESDAY (PM) class: Nov. 27: NO CLASS (Thanksgiving holiday) Dec. 4: Husky (dog)! Dec. 11: Snowy owl! Dec. 18: Reindeer! Dec. 25 & Jan 1: NO CLASS (Two holidays in a row!!) THURSDAY class: Nov. 28: NO CLASS (Thanksgiving holiday in the US) Dec. 5: Arctic fox! Dec. 12: Sea otter! Dec. 19: Polar bear! Dec. 26 & Jan. 2: NO CLASS (Ms. Kristy is off for Christmas/New Year) FRIDAY class: Nov. 1: Siamese cat! Nov. 8: Ferret! Nov. 15: Swan! Nov. 22: Polar bear! Nov. 29: NO CLASS (Thanksgiving holiday) Lessons are interactive and I welcome student participation! Students are also invited to suggest what animals they would like to draw in upcoming lessons. Requisitos previos
No prerequisite classes are required; this is a class for beginners. Students will be instructed to begin their drawings with simple shapes such as ovals and rectangles (perfection not required!). The key is to "keep moving"!
