Draw Studio: Crea tu propio dragón

Do you love dragons?  Want to practice your creature creation and drawing skills?  Enjoy being creative and inventing new characters?
Let's draw together!  

Every week, we'll invent an entirely NEW type of dragon, based on your class suggestions.  Want to make a dragon made entirely of fire?  One that grows like a plant?  Or has fur like a zebra?  We'll practice making designs like this-- combining the classic dragon form with characteristics of our favorite animals, plants, elements, and even objects.  New designs every time!

Lessons are interactive and I welcome student participation!  Students will brainstorm together to choose our subjects at the end of each month.

April 3:  Popcorn dragon!
April 10:  Phoenix dragon!
April 17:  Pet dragon!
April 24:  Fern dragon!

How does this class work?  Each week of "Draw Together" is a miniature drawing workshop:
-- We look at photos for inspiration, and brainstorm ideas together.  
-- Students can follow along with my drawing, or create their own design.  
-- I give frequent (optional) feedback throughout the class.   
-- We practice skills such as: drawing inspiration from observation, creature design, exaggeration/simplification, creating texture, and more!

My goal is not only to teach students how to draw a particular dragon, but to help them practice the skills they need to draw anything they want!  Students are encouraged to use their creativity to add or change details of the image as desired.
