Love drawing and curious about architecture? In this weekly drawing class, learners will explore famous buildings and architectural styles from around the world. From castles and skyscrapers to lighthouses and bridges, we'll practice drawing with structure and perspective—engaging both the creative and logical sides of the brain. It’s a fun way to build artistic skills while inspiring a potential interest in design and architecture! What makes this class stand-out: This class combines creativity with structure as kids learn to draw buildings using perspective and design principles. It’s perfect for inspiring both artistic growth and early interest in architecture. Class Introduction 🏛 Each class will begin with a slideshow introducing the building of the week. We’ll look at photos, fun facts, and architectural details to understand the design before we start drawing. Class Rules 📋 The teacher will review class expectations at the start of each session. Learners will be muted during drawing time to reduce background noise, but they’re encouraged to ask questions by raising their hand or using the platform reactions. Drawing Process ✍ A second camera will be used to demonstrate the drawing step-by-step in real time. Learners will follow along and give a thumbs-up on screen or via Zoom when they’re ready to move to the next step. Artwork Completion 🎨 If time allows, learners can outline and color their drawings during class. If not, they are welcome to finish adding details and color at their own pace after class. Share and Tell Time 🗣 At the end of class, learners will have a chance to share their building drawings and talk about what they learned. Participation is optional and meant to be encouraging and fun. Class Enrollment 📅 This is an ongoing class, so learners can join or leave at any time. Each session is a stand-alone project—no prior experience or attendance required! ⏰ Weekly Schedule ⏰ Week 1 (May 6): shop Week 2 (May 13): Cafe Week 3 (May 20): igloo Week 4 (May 27): Castle Week 5 (June 3): cottage Week 6 (June 10): lighthouse Week 7 (June 17): mushroom house Week 8 (June 24): pagoda
