In this 55 minute class, students will learn how to confidently assemble, disassemble and clean the flute, hold the flute, make the first sound, and play three notes (G, A, and B).  I have started hundreds of beginning students on the flute, and I feel that this solid foundation is a huge advantage to a successful lifetime of playing.  This class is structured in an "I do, we do, you do" format.  For example, I will assemble a part of my flute, the class then assembles specific part of their own instrument, and then I spot check the class.  This will help the new flutist to be successful.  
This class is intended for the very beginning flute player with no previous knowledge or experience playing flute.
