In this on-going class, learners will practice social skills with peers as well as have the opportunity to connect with peers from around the world in a fun and safe environment.  Each learner will have multiple times to speak.  I will randomly select each student to share their doll or stuffed animal, after I have shared my stuffed animal or doll.  If a child is feeling shy they may pass and we will come back to them.  We will discuss things like what our doll or stuffed animals' names are, how long we have had them, who bought them/gave them to us, why they are special to us, etc.  I will also model, and encourage students to compliment and ask questions when another student shares.  Students are welcome to share their accessories for their doll or stuffed animal if time allows.

If time allows we will sing song like “Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear” and color songs (“Blue,” “Red,” etc.).

**I will not force students to speak if they do not feel comfortable, however, if you wish for your child to share even if they are refusing then you are welcome to help them out.
