Do you believe in luck? What gives you good luck or bad luck? The Ides of March is acknowledged on March 15th of every year and is a term that is used in many pieces of literature or is mentioned in contemporary movies or tv shows such as the Simpsons, daily news shows, and even a movie "The Ides of March." After this class, students will be able to answer the following questions: (1)What is the Ides of March? (2) What does Beware the Ides of March mean? (3) Where does the saying “Beware the Ides of March” come from? (4) How do people use the expression “Beware the Ides of March” today? (5) What is a proverb? (6) What is a superstition? And then we will finish with a class discussion about the concepts of luck versus the influence attitude, gratitude, and goal-setting. I look forward to seeing your learner in class.
