Do you have a Disney enthusiast in your family? For me, planning trips to Disney World is one of the best parts of the process! In this course, students will learn the basics of planning a trip to Disney World, including transportation options, budgeting, accommodations, park planning, packing, and more. Some of the topics covered in this course include time management, comparing numbers, life skills, organization / list making, and basic money management. Additional academic components include comparing and contrasting essays, addition / multiplication drill & practice, SEL roleplay, and more. Class 1: Introductions & Transportation Class 2: Packing Planning Class 3: Time to Fly! Class 4: Picking Tickets Class 5: Where to Stay? Class 6: Rides, Wait Times, and Down Time Class 7: Scary Rides & How They Make Me Feel Class 8: Animal Kingdom Exploration Class 9: Water Park Compare & Contrast Class 10: Saying Goodbye, Disney! This is a no-homework class, but students are encouraged to explore more on their own.

I am a certified special education teacher, and teach Math, ELA, and SEL on a daily basis to a crew of diverse and neurospicy learners. Students under the ASD umbrella, as well as student with attention / ADHD needs are encouraged.
