Calling all Disney Princess fans! If you love Disney and yoga, this is the perfect combination of both. Bring a little bit of Disney into your home with this fun and interactive class, where students will be able to dress up as their favorite characters, sing and dance to their favorite songs, and get some exercise in by learning some fun yoga moves and poses that will help strengthen their mind and body. Class Structure: Intro -2 min Disney Princess mini discussion -3 min Yoga Workout: including a warm up, workout, and cool down focused on breathing and flexibility -15-20 min Share: Students may share their favorite yoga move or character from the Disney films or share what they brought to class -5 min Yoga provides many benefits including: increased flexibility. increased muscle strength and tone. improved respiration, energy, and vitality. maintaining a balanced metabolism. weight reduction. cardio and circulatory health. improved athletic performance. protection from injury. This class is great for beginners who want to learn some fun yoga moves with their friends while being able to talk about Disney Princesses. Please make sure to have water for class and either a yoga mat or carpeted area. Students are welcome to dress up or wear comfortable clothing.

My name is Alyssa. I’m a Top Educator on the Outschool platform.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University with my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Family Life/Child Development. I have an instructor’s license as well as TESOL and TEFL certifications.
I am very excited to meet you! I have been teaching or tutoring since 2010. I love to teach fitness, music, ESL, math, reading, cosmetology, and anything to do with Disney, especially Star Wars! I am proud to be the original instructor of the Star Wars Jedi workouts for Outschool! I like lightsaber training and finding fun and cool ways to help kids get moving and become more involved with fitness! I have worked with all ages, but working with children is my favorite!
Outside of teaching I love to read, run, swim, go on vacation, and play with my children. I have such a passion for teaching and learning. I am a teacher who loves precision and exactness, while still having a lot of fun! I enjoy incorporating singing, dancing, laughter, and excitement into my classes, while making new friends along the way. It is such a joy when my students learn a new concept or skill. I am energetic and always try my best to help my students succeed. I look forward to our fun adventures ahead in learning together! See ya real soon!
