In this five-week camp, students will follow a guided lesson to draw and create a different character from Sofia the First! We will draw step-by-step, and at the end of class everyone will have the chance to have their creation spotlighted to receive individual praise and positive feedback. We will draw our characters in the same order every week - this affords students the ability to master our skills and recall them when we create future characters, or when they want to create their own! Students can dress up, bring show-and tell, and anything else they like! I will be drawing digitally on the screen, so my hand is never in the way. Hello Families!
My name is Nicole - my students usually call me Ms. Cole. I graduated from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts with a double major in Design Studies - with a focus in 3D modeling and digital fabrication; and the other in Art Studies - with a focus in fashion and studio art.
I have a passion for the arts and really enjoy creating with clay and drawing in my free time. I love teaching fashion, drawing, and art classes; as well as early learning foundations for preschool and pre-k.
I am a multi-certified lead teacher for toddlers, preschool, and pre-k. I taught preschool and pre-k for five years, and I absolutely loved it!
I am a homeschool mom to my amazing daughter who keeps me on my toes and helps me come up with exciting new class ideas all the time.
