In this one-time class, your child will embark on a journey to uncover the rich history and significance of Juneteenth, the celebration of African American freedom. Through engaging storytelling, interactive activities, and meaningful discussions, students will gain a deeper understanding of the events leading to Juneteenth and its relevance today.

What will be taught?
The history and origins of Juneteenth
Key events leading to the emancipation of enslaved African Americans
The significance of Juneteenth celebrations in American history and culture
