Descubrimientos en la Escritura - Clase de Escritura Semanal de IEW (Semestre 1)

This class teaches IEW Units one through five using IEW's Theme Book,Discoveries in Writing.   Each class will focus on one lesson in the new Discoveries in Writing Level A book.  Structure will be taught through key word outlines, retelling stories, and paragraph structure.  Style will be introduced including the "ly" adverb, who/which clause, strong verb, and because clause.  

Each class will include a greeting activity, mechanics and style, a writing lesson, and a brief review or vocabulary exercise. 

Weekly homework will be given according to the Discoveries in Writing suggested assignments. Assignments that are submitted to me via Outschool messaging will receive written feedback according to the checklist included in the Discoveries in Writing book from IEW.
