Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your home-school day? Look no further than Digital Arts 4 Kids: Drawing, Illustration & Painting! Our program is designed for children in grades 1st - 4th with an interest in art, and provides an outlet to create unique projects with digital tools.

During our 55 Minute class meetings, held once a week for 6 weeks, participants will engage with live instructors who will inspire them to create fun and exciting art projects using art apps. Our student-centered learning style includes collaborative projects, allowing learners to work with their peers to create inspiring pieces of digital art.

At Digital Arts 4 Kids, we welcome learners of all skill levels, and no prior experience is necessary. We will cover a variety of topics, including capturing non-digital art projects and editing them on a tablet, working on digital painting and illustration with inspiring prompts, and reviewing digital art tools designed for kids. Our curriculum is designed to allow participants to experience building digital art from scratch, and to use technology to create fun and inspiring art projects.

Our teaching style is interactive and engaging, with a focus on collaborative learning. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with both their instructors and their peers through lectures, games, slides, video clips, and discussions. We encourage learners to ask questions and to share their ideas and projects with their classmates, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Week 1 - Learn how to get started in Procreate, Create a “3D” sphere while learning the tools of Procreate,Understanding light and shadows on a rounded 3D object.
Week 2 - Learn more in depth features in Procreate while illustrating a cute cartoon style apple. Learn about using textured brushes and advanced Procreate features and tools.
Week 3 - Create a “3D” styled illustration of a milkshake in a glass.
Building more on what we have learned thus far.
Week 4 - Create a beautiful landscape painting of a starry night over a mountain range using advanced features
Week 5 - Learn about trans media transcription and how to create your own self-portrait
Week 6 - Continue working and putting finishing touches on your projcets and Share you projects with your fellow students
