What do the viperfish and the squirrel have in common? Does the viperfish really hold a Guinness World Record? Join me for a one-time class to learn the wild answers to questions like these, while practicing basic drawing skills. We will begin by sketching the basic form of a viperfish, using our pencils to create common shapes and lines. During this process, I will discuss simple principles of proportion and perspective to help train learners’ eyes. Once the rough sketch is complete, we will use ink pens to give the semi-realistic drawing a clear and distinct outline. Finally, we will discuss the use of colored pencils to add depth and shading to our drawings.

Throughout this drawing course, learners will discover interesting facts about the viperfish with the use of trivia questions and open discussion. This truly is an amazing animal and work of art! 

Though not required, I highly encourage learners to share their art projects within our positive and supportive classroom to build confidence and friendships.
