𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀 and magic, Vecna, has been working on a ritual to reshape the multiverse into his perfect playground.  In order to stop him, adventurers will have to travel throughout the material world and all the planes of existence just to slow him down. Allies in this quest include Mordenkainen, Tasha, Lady Alustriel, Kas and even Strahd von Zarovich.  This is one of two adventures that allow players to experience level 20 in a campaign setting.

On the first day, the students will create their characters and the start of the adventure will be introduced.  The following sessions will be playing the adventure.

I will be running them through the published campaign book titled Vecna: Eve of Ruin.'  Parents are welcome to read the material, but I don't recommend students doing so, as it will be a huge spoiler to the story.  Some of the content will be toned down for the audience.

Students will get to pick up on social cues, experience team building exercises, develop critical thinking skills, gain math and reading comprehension, engage in moral and ethics discussions, receive creative story building and character creation experience, create in-game and real life bonds and friendships, and more.

Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game that involves players defeating monsters and villains using imaginary swords, axes, hammers, bows and magic. The violence involved is imaginary. The use of alcohol is a trope in this game, but not actually a key aspect - for example, the players will sometimes meet in a tavern to receive quests. There are monsters such as witches and devils in Dungeons & Dragons. Players will sometimes run across these creatures in their games, but they aren't intended to be worshiped or idolized - they are often written into the story with the expressed intention that they be defeated.

Please have a computer with a mouse if you can.  Tablets are okay, but they don't interact with the maps very well.  Also, Chrome and Firefox are the preferred internet browser for Roll20.  Edge doesn't like to load and Safari turns Roll20 into a Picasso.
