👋 Hi, I’m Tyrice!
I’m an early childhood Occupational Therapist, and children book author passionate about helping young learners (3-8) build essential skills through play-based, hands-on learning.
With over 10 years of experience in early intervention and early childhood education, I specialize in:
✅ Fine motor development – strengthening little hands for writing success
✅ Sensory play & regulation – helping children explore, focus, and self-regulate
✅ Social-emotional learning (SEL) – building confidence, empathy, and teamwork
✅ Early literacy & handwriting – making reading and writing fun and engaging
My Philosophy
I believe that children learn best through play and exploration! My classes are designed to be interactive, creative, and engaging, ensuring every learner feels confident and successful while having fun. Whether it’s through storytelling, movement, sensory play, or fine motor games, I create a warm, supportive environment where all children can thrive.
My classes are:
Student-centered – encouraging curiosity, creativity, and self-expression.
Hands-on & interactive – using games, role-playing, and discussion to make learning meaningful.
Inclusive & welcoming – every child’s voice matters!
Something Fun & Personal!
🐉 I love making up silly voices when I read stories—Dax the Dragon has his own special voice!
🎭 When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring, watching animated movies, or playing with my poodle-Edison.
✈️ Fun fact: I dream of traveling to explore the settings of my favorite stories!
