In the first few minutes of class, each child will introduce their stuffy to the class that they will be dancing with. During this class, we will begin with a quick stretch and warm up on the floor. We will then play a dance game with our favorite stuffy's. Basic Ballet positions and Technique will be taught and a standing exercise will follow. We will have a dance party with our stuffy and then end the class with a fun game of freeze dance. Basic motor skills including balance, jumping, galloping and skipping will be taught and explored during this time. No experience necessary for this class.

Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn basic motor skills during our dance games. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT. I'm a homeschooling mom to my two boys for the past 5 years and love teaching Math and English!
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
