This class is designed for young explorers who love to ask "why?" and "how?" questions! In this ongoing class, students will learn how to ask great questions, find reliable information, and share their discoveries in fun and creative ways. Each week, we’ll explore a new topic together and practice the skills of research, critical thinking, and presentation. Each session is stand-alone, so students can join at any time! Topics will rotate, and each class will focus on a different curiosity-based theme, such as The Science of the World (Why do we dream? What makes the sky change colors?); The Animal Kingdom (How do animals communicate? Why do some animals glow?); Space & Beyond (What would happen if you fell into a black hole?); History’s Mysteries (Who was the real Mona Lisa? What happened to the lost city of Atlantis?) Since this is an ongoing class, each session is self-contained, meaning students can join at any time! ✅ Intro Discussion – We kick off with a fun, thought-provoking question. ✅ Research & Exploration – Students learn how to find answers using trusted sources. ✅ Creative Thinking & Sharing – Students organize their findings and share their thoughts. ✅ Fun Wrap-Up – A quick challenge, quiz, or discussion to tie everything together! I use an interactive, student-led approach where learners choose what excites them and explore topics through hands-on research, discussion, and creative presentations. Each class includes: 1. Mini-Lessons to introduce the day’s topic 2. Live Research Challenges where students find answers in real time 3. Interactive Discussions where students share their ideas 4. Creative Sharing (drawing, storytelling, or presenting their findings in fun ways!) I believe that learning should be exploratory, student-driven, and FUN! My style is high-energy, engaging, and supportive. I encourage students to follow their curiosity, think critically, and express their ideas confidently. Students will have lots of interaction through live discussions, research challenges, and presenting their findings. This is NOT a lecture-style class—students will be active participants in every session!
Metas de aprendizaje
By the end of four sessions, students will be able to formulate at least one well-structured, open-ended question and conduct basic research using at least two reliable sources to find answers.

In this class, students will conduct research using Outschool-approved third-party resources such as National Geographic Kids, Smithsonian Magazine, Wonderopolis, Time for Kids, and Khan Academy. These resources provide age-appropriate, educational content to support students in exploring their curiosity-driven questions.
📌 No accounts are required to access these resources, and all materials will be used in class under teacher guidance.
While students may explore a variety of topics, all discussions and research will be age-appropriate and aligned with Outschool’s content policies. If a student’s question leads to sensitive or complex topics, I will redirect their inquiry toward suitable research avenues and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
