Week 1Lesson 1Crochet BasicsIn this lesson, students will learn fundamental crochet techniques, including how to hold the hook and yarn, create a slip knot, and make basic stitches like the chain stitch and single crochet.Lesson 2Chicken Part 1Students will begin their chicken plushy by crocheting the main body. They will practice their newly acquired skills, focusing on forming a solid shape and maintaining even stitches.Lesson 3Chicken Part 2Continuing with their project, students will add other small details of the chicken. This lesson emphasizes attaching pieces and adding finishing touches.Lesson 4Chicken Part 3 & Reading a PatternIn the final lesson, students will complete their chicken and learn how to read and follow crochet patterns. They will apply this knowledge to complete their chicken plushy and gain confidence to tackle future projects.
