GUIDED READING CRITICAL THINKING is a class that has been designed to teach, review and practice identifying  Reading Skills that are embedded within critical reading passages that students might encounter on a daily basis in school or on standardized testing formats. Students will find this course a useful addition and great help towards reaching common core guidelines. Additionally, this course is created as a resource for SAT, ACT, and ANY other standardized test preparation.  It is also imperative that your child is currently reading at or above their grade level.   THIS COURSE WILL OPERATE FOR A MINIMUM OF 12 - 16 DAYS. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
```Students meet approximately 12 - 16  days to for work depending on scheduling.
```Work towards achieving mastery of 12 Reading Skills and 7 Reading Strategies.
```Students will annotate all passages when possible.
```Students will respond and read a minimum of 3 selections per lesson.  
```Course content will provide support to those studying for college entrance exams. 
```Course content will be disseminated using a PowerPoint Presentation if needed.
