In our Goosebumps-inspired creative writing class, students will dive into the art of crafting spooky stories with guidance and inspiration from the beloved Goosebumps series. 


Students will learn how to create suspenseful and engaging stories, focusing on elements like eerie settings, unexpected twists, and chilling details. 

The class will cover story structure and techniques for building tension. We'll explore how to use descriptions and dialogue to enhance the spooky atmosphere of their stories.

The class is structured into interactive segments, starting with an introduction to spooky storytelling, followed by a creative writing exercise, ending with a story-sharing session and craft to finish after class. 

Teaching will be a mix of direct instruction and interactive activities. We’ll use engaging slides and prompts to guide the writing process and encourage creativity.

I use a dynamic and supportive teaching style, aiming to make the class fun and motivating. I focus on encouraging students to express their ideas and develop their writing skills in a positive, interactive environment.

Students will interact with me through live discussions, feedback on their stories, and a collaborative story-sharing segment.
