1-2 horas por semana. Homework assignments may include writing exercises, reflection prompts, reading assignments, and peer feedback tasks. These assignments will vary in format to cater to different learning styles and to encourage students to engage with the material in meaningful ways. Homework will typically be assigned after each session, providing students with ample time to complete tasks and reflect on their learning between classes. Assignments may range from short writing prompts to longer creative projects, with deadlines set to coincide with the next class session. Homework assignments will be reviewed by the instructor to provide feedback and support students in their learning journey. While assignments may not be graded for correctness in the traditional sense, feedback will focus on strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for further exploration. Engaging with the assigned tasks outside of class will help reinforce learning objectives, deepen understanding, and contribute to students' growth as writers.
Evaluación
Assessments primarily consist of formative assessments, which focus on providing ongoing feedback and opportunities for students to practice and refine their writing skills. These may include in-class writing exercises, personal feedback from me, peer feedback sessions, group discussions, and creative projects. Formative assessments are offered regularly throughout the workshop, allowing students to engage with the material in a variety of ways and receive feedback from both the instructor and their peers. These assessments are integrated into class sessions to provide immediate support and encouragement. Formative assessments, such as writing exercises and peer feedback sessions, are conducted during class sessions to encourage collaboration, discussion, and creativity. Students have the opportunity to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and learn from their peers in a supportive environment. In keeping with the workshop's emphasis on creative expression and exploration, there are no final essays or rigid summative assessments. Instead, students are encouraged to showcase their learning and growth through their poetry portfolios, which may include a selection of their best work created throughout the workshop. While assessments are an important aspect of the learning process, they are not intended to be strict or punitive. Students are encouraged to engage with assessments at their own pace and to approach them with curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn and grow as poets.

Orientación para padres
The class content in "Exploring Narrative Poetry: Identity, Memory, and Self-Expression" primarily focuses on personal reflection, creative expression, and literary analysis. However, it's important to note that some poetry and discussions may touch upon themes such as identity, memory, and emotions, which could potentially be upsetting or triggering for some learners. For example, discussions about personal experiences or memories may evoke strong emotions or memories for some students. Additionally, certain poems or writing prompts may explore themes of trauma, loss, or difficult life experiences, which could be distressing for sensitive individuals. To ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, I will provide trigger warnings before discussing potentially sensitive topics or poems. I will also encourage students to approach these discussions with sensitivity and respect for their peers' experiences. Additionally, I will be available to offer support and guidance to any students who may find certain topics challenging. Media content used in the class, such as poems or videos, will be carefully selected to align with the age-appropriate rating guidelines and to avoid any content that may be excessively graphic or disturbing.
