Do you want to write a short story, novella, or a novel? There are many ways to get started on or prep for your story and that's what this class will cover. We'll go over what it means to be a Plotter or a Pantser or something in between. The purpose of this class is to discuss the pros and cons of being a Plotter or a Pantser. The student will learn the tricks and tools of plotters and how they map out everything before sitting down to write. The student will learn the tricks and tools of a pantser and trusting the process to let the story flow. And what to do if you fall in the middle. We'll discuss which method rings true to each student and what they want to try for their next writing project (short story, novella, or novel).
Metas de aprendizaje
The students will learn the difference between a plotter, a plantser, and a pantser, and how published authors use this knowledge to establish their writing methods.
