In this ongoing course, students can work on their creative writing skills by learning new ways to inspire themselves and improve their writing ability. The four main elements to creative writing are plot, characters, setting, and tone. We will learn and discuss the importance of these elements plus many more in this class. Also, your student will learn many different types of creative writing. Some examples include: poetry, play writing, fiction, songs, etc. We will use many writing prompts to encourage new and interesting ideas.

This class is a great way for your student to meet fellow writers while also gaining inspiration and skills to enhance their stories. There will be many writing prompts, activities, and discussions during class. I encourage all of my students to participate in discussions and share their work during class, however, it is not required. Students may also just listen in class if they would like. In each class we will have time to write. This is an interactive class not just instructional.

I am a firm believer that students learn best when they are having fun. I strive to create a classroom where your student can have fun with their peers while also learning something new. Students do not need any prior experience in creative writing to join this class.

Hello, my name is Ms. Tasha. I have many years of experience working with children in various classroom settings. With four years of experience working in a virtual classroom, I am confident that your learner will feel comfortable and excited to come to class. I also have a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, with a concentration in Psychology. I have completed many English and Writing courses throughout my college adventure as well. I am excited to share my love of reading and writing with your students.

I will be offering mostly reading and writing based classed geared toward all levels. My classes are designed to enhance reading skills. Learners will increase reading fluency and improve comprehension. As for writing courses, learners can gain valuable skills to develop their writing ability in many different genres. While I mostly focus on reading and writing skills, I also offer classes involving animals, Disney movies, dress up, and much more.

I believe that children retain most information if they can connect to the material they are learning about. I strive to create a upbeat, fun classroom where all students feel excepted and free to express themselves. Learning can be fun when taught in creative and exciting ways. All of my offered classes are designed to keep your learners engaged with activities. Learners also participate in discussions and gain instruction in a positive learning environment.
I look forward to meeting your learners soon!
