I will be teaching discussion questions that promote discussion in the English language.  I have a TESOL certificate and also teach with VIPKID (an online platform teaching English to students), Cambly, and Novakid.  I will cover topics like "favorite things" and I will show pictures that generate discussion.  Some questions will include, "What is your favorite card game?  What is your favorite thing to do outside?  Describe your personality...are you shy?  Are you funny?"  My teaching style includes a PowerPoint presentation, games, and a lot of discussion time.  

I created several PowerPoints which include pictures that will generate discussion. For example, one PowerPoint includes pictures related to the 4 seasons while another PowerPoint includes pictures of hobbies.  Some of the topics will include hobbies, animals, funny pictures, prepositions of place, and sports.  Students will discuss what they see and their opinions on the topics.  This class is primarily discussion with my goal to be getting students talking most of the time.  Students should come to class with a good knowledge of the English language.  This is an ongoing class as I welcome repeat students and will make sure the content of the lesson is different each time!
