¡Campamento de contorsión! Nivel 2

Este curso es una introducción al campamento de contorsión para estudiantes que ya tienen experiencia en gimnasia o danza y que buscan explorar o mejorar sus habilidades y destrezas de contorsión, ya sea para desarrollo recreativo o profesional.

Tarea
1 hora por semana. After each lesson, students will be given drills to practice before the following class for those that choose to. I will not check completion of these, it will be up to the students' how much time they put into their post-exercises.

Nivel Intermediate
Welcome! This is an intermediate, but introductory camp for those interested (or already involved in) contortion.

Students will learn techniques for active and passive flexibility, body shaping, and some hand-balancing. They will build on their stretches from each class, ending with showing their progress in skills! I will provide examples, physical cues, and form corrections for students to make sure they not only can complete the skills, but can do them well!

An example of how each class is broken down:
Lesson 1- Legs (Active & Passive)
Lesson 2- Back & Hips Flex
Lesson 3- Back & Shoulders
Lesson 4- Hand-balancing & Recap

Students will be progressing at their own speed and will only be allowed to advance to the next skill if they seem physically ready! Please check the pre-reqs for the class and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Parental supervision is recommended, injury may occur if skills are done incorrectly. Students should have plenty of space around them for skills.
Requisitos previos
In order to ensure safety and comfort within this class, students should already have experience with basic flexibility training and some gymnastics skills. For example: splits, backbend from standing, good form in handstands, headstands.
