Each week a new set of 10 Latin and Greek root words (and prefixes and suffixes), and at least 5 vocabulary words from sources such as SAT prep will be introduced and studied then we will play a game with the words on that same day to learn the root words and vocabulary. 
Latin and Greek roots word topics include science, medical terminology, legal terms, art, and much more. 
Approximately 60% of the English language derives from Latin roots and about 21% derives from Greek root words. This ongoing class offers the potential to increase a learner's vocabulary by several hundred words, possibly more, by learning 10 root words per week. 
 1. Each Week :  15 Latin and/or Greek root words to learn for that specific day. We will play a game with the words to reinforce learning. 
 2. Each new week 15 more Latin and/or Greek root words to learn for that specific day.  
3.  The following week 15 more Latin and/or Greek root words to learn that day of class. 
4. The following week" 15 more Latin and/or Greek root words to learn for that day and so on every week ongoing. 
Each class is individualized. No two classes rely on the other. Up to 30 minutes are allotted for learning, 25 to 40 minutes for playing games with that week's words. 

Note: Over the weeks, hundreds of root words will be presented, and some may be challenging, but repetition is the key to permanently learning the roots! Repetition of the root words in the games we play ensures long term learning of the roots over the inferior short term learning of rote memorization.
