Many students are amazing at reading the words in a story, but struggle with understanding the text. One piece of the puzzle to comprehension is vocabulary, and more importantly, the ability to use context clues in order to determine the meaning of challenging, or unknown words. This class will include teacher-led instruction. We will practice beginning with sentences and multiple choice options, and move to text where students will explain their answers. Our class time may include: student discussion, videos, teacher-led presentations, and online games to practice.

We will play a game either using Kahoot or Blooket. Students can use a separate devise or can simply open up a new tab. They do not need to create an account. They will be given a code to join my game.
