💡 This class is part of my 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡-𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝 & 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨—custom-built to help teens gain practical money skills, confidence, and independence. Each class stands alone and can be taken in any order or simultaneously, but together they create a full-year learning path that prepares teens for real-life financial decisions.

In this interactive course (formerly listed as Consumer Math Semester 1), we work together to tackle math skills teens will 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 use in real life—like how to read a pay stub, track spending in a bank register, calculate sales tax, and understand the difference between debit and credit. We'll practice budgeting, tipping, and unit pricing while building confidence with practical math.

This course transforms everyday math into an engaging, practical experience. No more hearing, “When will I ever use this?!” from your teen 🙂.

Whether your teen is calculating discounts or managing their debit card, I’ve got you covered!

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭:
This particular course meets once per week for 13 weeks. I structure every lesson with the "I do, we do, you do" approach, helping to increase learner confidence with practice problems on guided notes. Each week, I also provide an enrichment activity to do, based on the week’s lesson. I will provide feedback on those activities and can also provide a formal grade report at the conclusion of the course if requested by parents 🙂
