Club de lectura sobre resolución de conflictos: cómo resolver conflictos y promover la paz a través de los libros

 In this class, we will explore themes of conflict resolution for young readers through the magic of books and literature using a read-aloud style course.  Children do not need to know how to read yet, as the story will be read to them, while we engage in an interactive discussion.  Students will be given a chance to ask questions and answer questions related to themes found in the literature.   Questions will be age-appropriate, fun, and engaging. This book club and the stories chosen are great to introduce themes of communication, social skills, respect, sharing, morals, working together, bullying,  and friendships for students at young developmental ages.
As the book is read, we will discuss themes of conflict as they arise, and make predictions about what will happen next in the story. At the end of each reading, we will discuss key conflict resolution themes and components and how it relates to the character, plot, problem, and resolution of the story.  Learners can join at any time.  Each week, we will be reading a different book, including:

We will wrap up each class with a summary of the book and the most important lessons learned.
