Are you funny? Do you want to learn about comedy? Then this class is for you! I am a Chicago-based comedy performer and I am so excited to teach your child the art of comedy. In this drop-in comedy club, we will learn comedy games, theatre, storytelling, comedy singing, and more. Each week we will learn different games and/or review old games. This class uses feedback from students to shape the next class's focus. The goal is to practice our comedy chops. Each activity will be broken down. Students will be provided a handout of the games that we will play prior to class. My teaching approach is laid back and student-centered. I will work with your student on the skills they need to be a successful virtual improviser. This is a hands-on performance class. Students do not need any other prior experience, just a desire to learn.


Please note: This is a comedy social club. Students learn improvisation style activities/games and go into breakout rooms. I travel through the breakout rooms. Then we come together to present what we worked on in class. We do not focus on stand-up.

Welcome to Virtual Performing Arts Academy. Our organization includes scholars, professional performers, and licensed teachers. We offer a variety of courses for all levels from beginners to pre-professionals. We are so excited to meet you.

All of our teachers are professional performers with a minimum of a BA degree.
