In this class, students will learn about the color wheel and seven different color schemes in art. To start class, we will learn and discuss the color theory for that week. Students will often be introduced to famous artwork that uses these different color schemes. This will be done largely though a slide show while asking students about what they see. Then, we will spend the majority of the class creating art of our own based on that color scheme. Most weeks, the students will be led in a directed drawing and asked to add creativity to their work wherever they see fit. Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
