In this lesson, we will work on a project step by step together from beginning to end. We will use Scratch, a coding language with a simple visual interface. First I'll show the completed work to the student, then we will start a new project and work on it step by step. -A Laptop or a desktop computer with webcam, speaker and microphone (No iPad and Chromebook please, unless you want to use it as a second screen for Zoom) -Internet: 3mbs+ -Using the Chrome browser is recommended -Having two devices, one for Zoom, one for Scratch would be helpful.

The project can be completed without making an account, but cannot be saved and shared on the website. You can save the file to your computer without an account. You need to create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/ and sign in, if you want your Lerner's project to be saved automatically. You have the option to share the project publicly and the option to keep it private. If you decide to have an account, please create one before the class starts. You can login and have the first page open by the time we start. Having two screens would be helpful. One for Zoom and the other one for Scratch. Using the Chrome browser is recommended.
