I am a licensed elementary educator with multi-grade level experience in math. Elementary mathematics is the crucial foundation necessary to build upon for future endeavors in education; and once that foundation is secure and stable, the stars are the limit. I will utilize paper materials (PDF will be delivered to you ahead of time), stories, paper manipulatives, video clips, books and more to take the student on a math adventure with King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table where we will learn about circumference, radius and diameter of a circle and how those terms interconnect with one another. Prior knowledge of multiplying fractions is helpful for the course, though it is not necessary. I would be happy to answer any of your questions and/or concerns; please feel free to message me. With regard to the video clip I will be utilizing- it is from Khan Academy Channel. "Khan Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Our interactive practice problems, articles, and videos help students succeed in math, biology, chemistry, physics, history, economics, finance, grammar, and many other topics." I will be using the video clip via screen-sharing and an account will not be required.
