In this weekly camp, students will review important foundational skills in reading, grammar, writing, and math. Students will review important concepts from kindergarten and first grade. This camp meets four times a week. The classes do not build upon each other. Students are welcome to join anytime. Each week, students will … ⭐️ Review letters and sounds ⭐️ Complete phonemic and phonological awareness activities ⭐️ Practice decoding words ⭐️ Practice spelling CVC and CVCe words ⭐️ Counting ⭐️ Practice number recognition ⭐️ Complete a math activity ⭐️ Review a grammar concept ⭐️ Complete a grammar activity ⭐️ Write sentences ⭐️ Complete a fine motor activity Each week will have a special theme. The activities during class will follow the weekly theme. See the schedule below for each week’s theme. Some of our activities will include scissors. Your child may need your assistance with using the scissors safely. We may at times use Playdoh in our lesson. Playdoh should never be eaten by learner.
