Experiencia de clase

Nivel de inglés: desconocido
Nivel Beginner
This class will cover everything that someone new and eager to learn chess needs to know about chess notation. Together, we will look through all the ranks and files of the chessboard using Zoom and Lichess, and learn how to identify and name the squares of the chessboard. This class will be taught as an interactive session involving screen sharing and the Lichess platform. I will share my screen as I explain the key concepts using examples and encourage feedback from students. There will be plenty of examples posted through links in the chat and students will be asked to open them up and share their screens as they work through them to solidify their knowledge of the material taught with feedback and support provided as they practice. I believe that the best way to learn is through plenty of practice, which is why I have included plenty of examples, as well as resources which students can work through beyond this class to help them master chess notation. By gaining knowledge of, and becoming proficient in, chess notation, students should have an easier time as they continue along their journeys in studying chess. Doing so will make it easier to see and understand how the pieces move, and to read chess books which illustrate examples and exercises based on chess notation
