In this 9-week course, students will learn about stoichiometry and thermochemistry. The students will find molar quantities of a reaction. The content is covered in the 3rd 9-week course in a conventional chemistry class. Engaged students learn content needed to successfully take assessments.

The students will learn the idea that as the kinetic energy of colliding particles increases and the number of collisions increases, the reaction rate increases. This section will be taught using the periodic table, interactive simulations/games, pictures, video clips, slides, discussions, lecture, and open-ended questions.
