Caos en Hupperdook: campaña de enseñanza de D&D
Qué está incluido
10 reuniones en vivo
15 horas presencialesTarea
1 hora por semana. There will not be homework assigned necessarily, but learners will be encouraged to study their characters and campaign notes regularly to prepare for each class/session.Evaluación
Learners will be assessed in the game through how they play their characters and if they can solve the main issue of the adventure. Nothing formal, only noticed with feedback given to each learner mid-way of the campaign and at the end of the campaign.Experiencia de clase
This class will be set up in a way that allows learners to learn and play in a game of Dungeons of Dragons. I aim to take learners through a made-up city filled with easily solveable issues. I will often share my screen to show students maps of the city, landscapes, and potential enemies/characters to fully immerse learners in this fantasy game world. The game will be played slowly so that learners can ask questions when needed and so that I can also point out good character/player moments or aid in moments that may the class stuck/not able to progress forward. Learners are encouraged to have a level 1 character so that we can set up for the game right in the first class. Having D&D dice would also help if possible to be able to make rolls when needed, but if this is not an option for you, a digital dice roller will be provided in the classroom as a resource too. There will not be homework or assessments per say in the class, but I will recommend that learners go through their characters and game notes regularly to prepare for the following/next session. Through taking the learners in situations where something needs to be resolved, taken care of, or figured out, they will learn key and valuable skills that can be applied in their daily lives, which will be brought up throughout the game. Rough Schedule for each Week: (Subject to change depending on how the game works/plays out) Week 1: Session 0/Meeting the Characters/Entering the City Week 2: Session 1 Being Introduced to the Key Issue and Planning Week 3: Session 2 Carrying out the Plan/Adventuring Begins Week 4: Session 3 Potential Enemy Fight or Solution Week 5: Session 4 Continuation of Fight or Solution/Level up Week 6: Session 5 Returning to Hupperdook Week 7: Session 6 Collecting Reward? Week 8: Session 7 Reviewing Campaign/Level Up Week 9 and 10: Bonus/Follow Up Adventure

Orientación para padres
There will be scenes described that will be 'violent' as the game involves conflict of varying degrees, but no images or explicit content will be shown. Learners will not be harmed at all, only their characters if such occasions arise.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
In the game of D&D, violence to fictional characters/creatures will always be a part of it in some way. However, there is lots of in-game options to make sure characters stay healthy/alive and okay for the mental well-being of learners. I want to teach them and help them learn, not be mean and ruin the game over the violence aspect of it.
