Yes, I am old enough to clearly remember the first Earth day, in 1970. I was an impressionable 14 year old ninth grade student, then. I still remember the feeling of hope that someone was concerned about our environment and how our industry, and consumerism were affecting her delicate balance. Fifty years later I am a retired educator who still feels passionately about how we all care for this precious earth we share. I am an avid gardener, amateur herbalist and lifelong learner. I love the outdoors and I love teaching kids! I have been teaching on this platform now for over a year and have enjoyed meeting kids from all over the USA and the world.
